On the evening of the 4th December, Paris Financial was pleased to host a debate comparing the investment choices of property and shares.
Our guest speakers for the evening were:
- Brad Straughair, from Domain Property
- Daniel Moore, from Perpetual Limited
The main topics discussed during the evening were income, capital growth and tax benefits. Both Brad and Daniel argued that their investment choices could enable a substantial income and provide great tax benefits. The audience were in favour of Daniel and his discussion of shares winning the debate.
While the debate was very heated, an undeniable conclusion was made that the choice of investment depends on the particular individuals’ needs and goals. Ultimately, the decision should be made based upon what the person feels comfortable with and what will suit their specific objectives.
