Amid speculation that the The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) is nearing a rates move, it has released its first rate call of 2019.
The official cash rate will be kept on hold at 1.5 per cent.
It is believed that unchanging economic data for the last quarter of 2018 could encourage the RBA to leave the rate untouched for an even longer period.
The last time that the rate was changed was in August 2016.
If you have had your home loan for multiple years, now is the perfect time to request an interest rate health check, or refinance option.
